Beethoven 32 is Boris Giltburg's ground-breaking Beethoven Sonatas journey to mark 250th anniversary of the composer’s birth. This journey, began on January 17th 2020, was supposed to end on January 1st 2021, when the 32nd Sonata should have been published. The well-know sanitary emergency stopped Giltburg's work for a long time, causing the delay on the publishing schedule of the videos. In spite of the imposed breaks, the Israeli pianist finally ended with success the recording of all the thirty-two Sonatas, 23 of which were completely new to him, at Fazioli Concert Hall. The videos will be published in the next weeks on the pianist's social media and website

Moreover, Naxos label, for which Boris Gilburg regularly records, decided to publish a digital box with all the Sonatas. Online are available the first six CDs, with Sonatas 1-22.

I will attempt to view each sonata - or most of them, at least - as the highest point of what Beethoven could achieve at that time, which makes every sonata interesting in itself, not only for its position in the cycle
