Fuori Salone 2017 was the occasion for FAZIOLI to open the doors of its Milanese showroom and unveil its two latest creations, both part of the “Art Case” collection. Next to the traditional line of grand and concert grand pianos conceived for the professional field, the renowned piano factory boasts the production of a special line of custom-made pianos where every instrument, as for the standard collection, is individually crafted, combining time-honoured methods with cutting-edge technology. This flexibility allows Fazioli to achieve any aesthetical variation on the instrument (shapes, surfaces, decorations), delivering woodworking of the highest quality even in the most challenging designs: an asset which has also made Fazioli a reference point for a growing number of designers and architects wanting to satisfy their most demanding customers.
The three scheduled events – the Amiata Piano Festival presentation event on April, 5th (6.00 pm), Ester Fusar Poli’s solo recital on April, 7th (6.30 pm) and Claudio Filippini’s jazz concert on April, 8th (6.30 pm) – were an excellent opportunity to admire these special creations and see them come alive under the pianists’ fingers!
The three FAZIOLI events for Fuorisalone 2017:
AMIATA PIANO FESTIVAL - 13th Edition
On Wednesday, April 5th 2017 at 6.00 pm, the Fazioli Showroom hosted the presentation of the Amiata Piano Festival which, from May to December, will bring classical music to the heart of Tuscan Maremma.
The programme of the festival, supported by the Bertarelli Foundation, was presented by Maurizio Baglini, its founder and artistic director, and Silvia Chiesa, artist in residence. Pianist and cellist performed a “surprise” programme together with other special guests of this 2017 edition of the festival. The event was closed by a toast with wines from the Cantina ColleMassari.
ESTER FUSAR POLI, piano recital
On Friday, 7th April 2017 at 6.30 pm, it was the turn of Ester Fusar Poli’s solo recital, held in the context of the “from the class to the concert” series organised in partnership with Irene Veneziano, one of the most celebrated pianists of her generation, and featuring some of her most talented students, selected by the pianist herself during her many Master Classes.
CLAUDIO FILIPPINI in jazz
On Saturday, 8th April 2017 at 6.30 pm, we closed the series with a jazz concert by Claudio Filippini.
"Refined pianist and deeply sensitive interpreter, Claudio Filippini offers a piano solo repertoire ranging from free improvisation to the classics of the American jazz songbook, taking as inspiration the greatest gurus of the jazz tradition. A privileged space is given to Filippini’s original compositions, new pieces as well as some hits from his last albums. A perfectly balanced piano playing which, apart from being rooted in tradition, finds its contemporary flair through experimentation."
