Cunmo Yin's concert has been canceled

Cunmo Yin gave his first concert at the age of nine, a few months after starting his piano studies. He studied at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music and at the Gulangyu Academy in Xiamen. He is currently attending the Hochschule für Musik in Hannover under the guidance of M° Gerrit Zitterbart. At the age of 14, he recorded his first CD: Liszt’s complete transcendental etudes. His concert activity brought him to perform in prestigious halls like the National Center for Performing Arts in Beijing, the Great Hall of the People in Nanjing, the Shanghai Music Hall, the Oriental Art Center always in Shanghai, but also in the United States and Germany. He has collaborated with various orchestras, from the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra to the Xiamen and the Longwood Symphony Orchestras. He was awarded first prize and “Freunde Junger Musiker Deutschland” special prize at the “Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy” Competition, open to the best students of German conservatories. At the Scriabin Competition in Grosseto (Italy), he received both the gold medal and the audience special prize.


Alexander Scriabin International Piano Competition (Grosseto, Italy)
Created, founded and directed by M° Antonino Di Cristofano since 1999, the Alexander Scriabin International Piano Competition’s main purpose has always been the promotion of music of the great Russian composer and the valorisation of young talents of the keyboard. The winners’ list counts various names of celebrated concert pianists. 2020 will mark the first edition of the Junior Scriabin Competition for very young piano talents until the age of 14.
